Timmy Stewart & Iain McCready team up on ‘Awaiting Conor Hall’ to create an ode to the venue in Belfast, where some of the first iconic club nights in the city took place. Two perspectives combined, Timmy on the music side using synths and field recordings to create the anticipation of being outside the venue waiting for the doors to open, successfully making it in and the euphoria and lasting memories those nights created. Iain on lyrics and narration around the preparation involved in the nights from arriving at the venue, sound checking, getting ready to open the doors, the music selected to play and the thoughts and feelings those special nights evoked.
